Sunsets

The west coast of the Scottish Highlands often enjoys spectacular and dramatic sunsets, and Lochcarron and the surrounding area is no exception.

The very best sunsets in Lochcarron itself tend to be seen during the winter months when the sun is lower in the sky and sets over the entrance to Loch Carron.

Superb sunsets can be seen throughout the year from Applecross, and also from nearby Strome Castle.
